    Pros:
    Burst Delta: This is a pretty interesting move for him as it gives him his own HP recovery. The great thing about this move is that it's AoE which allows him to heal alot more than he would if the attack was ST instead. So, this move has some good niche in getting him some HP back if he only specifically needed the heal for himself. Or could not be healed to full by your healer. But, most healers can just about bring you up to full if they are geared good enough.


    Cons:
    Terrible Equipment: Trey can only be equipped with bows, making him feel a bit generic to set up to use in battle. I'm not saying that it's a real bad thing cause we do have some good, and free bows for the game so he can be used if you had to use him in your team. But, only having bows, and a next to no clothing/armor support basically makes him feel flat.

    Low ATK Passive: We're gotta past the point where ATK +10% was acceptable I feel. Even for a 5* max unit. As it stands, Trey did not get that message and he only has that 10% boost in his movepool. It's kinda low, but it's not disappointing low. It's something yes, but not what should be good enough for 5* units that we are getting now.

    Concentrate: While this gives him a free avoid, the buff itself feels a bit wasted to use on him. In most teams, people have units that have AoE buffers usually on a healer, or support unit. Since his buff is SELF the buff itself doesn't warrant that much use especially if you have one of the above units in your team. It just wouldn't seem that worth to use if you had units who could already buff ATK on your team.

    Dynamite Arrow: A straight base of 300% modifier is surely great cause no 5* really peak this high before. The problem is that it's 1 turn delay effect. This basically means he's a sitting duck on the turn he charges up the move in a sense this is a more worse Jump cause at least you avoid damage on the turn you go up.

    PvP Arena:
    Trey actually does hold a flame here in PvP Arena cause he has the chance to cause a AoE stop effect with his move "Dynamite Arrow" which can be used in quickly defusing down teams so you can just pick up kills quicker. But, he is still a 5* max which means he is more likely to get killed cause of him having lower stats, and PvP Arena namely being dominated in a 6* era. And that's never going to change at all.

    Trust Mastery Award:
    Knowledge isn't a bad TM at all really. I would push for it if you were making a mage build. As the extra SPR allows them to take damage and dish it out more with the MAG boost. It's not one of those high priority TMs so I wouldn't rush to farm it unless you were really working on a mage unit. It's a solid TM, but not something that needs to be done ASAP.

    Comparing to Other Units:

    - Mustadio
    • Mustadio has better equipment options.
    • Mustadio can support the team with debuffs.
    • Trey has a high niche with the ability to cause Stop.
    • They both have the same base ATK.
    Overall Verdict: I feel as if Trey is better when it comes to the damage output. While Mustadio could reach as high 600% total mod with his Rapid Fire skill it's a chance. It's a 1/6 chance that he will reach that high. Trey on the other hand has better odds to reach his highest mod on Barrage (320%) if there is just a single enemy on the field he's good to go on getting that forsure damage.

    Conclusion:
    Trey is a meh unit. While he does have his niches as I explained above. He doesn't hold any real special place even as a 5* unit. He can be used if you don't have anything else to really work with and that should kinda be the only reason you wanna use Trey. He has his solid use in PvP Arena, but I don't truly see him as a main slotter even if you're a new player just starting on his banner.

    You can check his equipment,read his ability and compare its usefulness in current meta.
    FYI, he is a pretty much old unit in FFBE JP, so you can already check his performance.

    The 1 turn delay in Dynamite Arrow is your own self having 1 turn delay (like Jump) or stop to enemy? From the way I read the description, it is more like you yourself have the delay. That seems more logically given the high damage output and low MP usage to AOE.

    Yes, you're right.
    It just like jump, but you are not jumping, so you still can be attacked by enemies.
    Your attack will be executed on the next turn.
    Just like luna's covering fire.

    He is exclusive to Firewall Power 30% attached and 20% ele resist.

    Is it too much to ask to make it NON-exclusive lol?

    Or at least make it usable by Seven

    Apparently Jack's exclusive materia stacks. Does anyone know if this works on Trey's 'Firewall: Power Up' ability as well? If so, a stackable 30% ATK and 20% elemental resistance on a meh unit is the closest thing many of us will get to a trust mastery reward.

    Scratch that! Just farmed enough to get two and they DO stack, giving him a 60% ATK and 40% elemental resistance boost. I guess it makes sense, considering the exclusive materia from the FF13 event also stack...

    trey sounds like a barely better version of artemios

    both have barrage,both have low attack,both 5 star units,both equip bows

    at least trey has that exl materia that adds more ATK

    I wouldn't say "barely" - multi-target stop is way better than single target paralysis, he arguably has the best exclusive materia (+30% attack AND +20% resist to all elements, stackable? Gimme.), and his TMR is infinitely better (hard not to be better than Equip Bow).

    Sure, Trey isn't cutting it overall outside of niche areas, but give the guy credit; he's leagues ahead of Artemios.

    Update on my Trey with stacked exclusive materia: He's only a level 50 4* right now but thanks to those exclusives and non-TMR equipment (tiger mask, hero's ring, killer bow, black belt gi and unusual artifact) anyone can get, I already have his ATK at 300. That isn't bad.
