    Pros:
    Insane ATK up Passives: [Both]: Xiao is a pretty rare unit as she was one of the first units to receive a natural +50% boost to her ATK stat whenever she was weaponless. Which at the 5* meta time was pretty impressive. Now, with her 6* form. She takes that step even better with giving a insane +100% total boost to her ATK stat if she's doesn't have any weapons. Which can make her ATK stat go up very high. Even if you didn't take the Fight route, she wouldn't be hindered to much by it as it would put her in the standard of most of our 6* meta attackers as all of them have normally a cap of +50% total ATK boost. Which if you wanted to is a pretty fair trade off.

    Unleashed Chakra: [Current]: Xiao takes what we know by the standard and breaks it into pieces. If you didn't know, no buff moves are stackable in the game. Basically, what would happen is the weaker buff would be exchanged for the stronger buff. If you had Cheer up, and then used Embolden.. Cheer would be overwritten in exchange for the Embolden buff. But, Xiao's self buff is actually stackable! Which is amazing as the buff itself is a +100% boost in ATK for three turns. Meaning if followed by a Cheer/Embolden or other buffs. She can reach as high as 140% boost to her ATK stat for a set amount of turns which makes her DPS really high.

    Perfect Balance: [Current]: While this makes her skip a turn, you in exchange get a solid overall HP/MP regen for Xiao which is always appreciated depending on your team setup. The HP regen is actually pretty solid to use on her so she can keep herself stable in battle. The MP regen does seem a little low, but it's still healing her MP which you cannot complain about. This also gives her a ATK/DEF buff the same as Cheer, which again stacks with her Unleashed Chakra move.

    Cons:
    Unleashed Chakra [Current: The only bad side to this move is the +50% boosted chance that she gets targeted. Normally, I would say how bad this is. But, in Xiao's cause she may actually be able to take some punches from opponents if not to strong cause of her relatively decent stats overall. She even does have a HP passive which may warrant her more survival. But, it's still dangerous to use this move if you're not prepared.

    Low Weapon Pool: Xiao can only equip one kind of weapon and that's fist. We've had some solid free fist so it doesn't hurt her opportunities for building her. But, it still would've been nice to see some variety on her as it's gonna come down to mainly one weapon that's her main really

    Trust Mastery Award:
    Kaiser Knuckles is a great TM for units who enjoy fist based items like Xiao, and other future units who would get a passive from it. Not to mention, the free wind element is actually good for PvP as most tanks are again equipped to Golem which gives you the chance to dispose of them rather quickly. So, I would recommend in grinding this TM.

    PvP Arena:
    Xiao works wonderfully here, her massive ATK up boost aren't really too much needed to take down enemies. But, she in a basic sense has all of what you'd need from a good physical attacker. Good AoE moves, DEF ignore. Great ATK stat passives. So, she's solid here in PvP Arena. I would give her a shot.

    Comparing to Other Units:

    - Yun
    • Yun has a +80% boost in ATK and can get the benefits from weapons, while Xiao is +100% boost in ATK without the benefit of weapons.
    • Yun has a higher ATK base than Xiao.
    • Both can heal their own HP/MP.
    • Yun techinally can deal more damage than Xiao after his normal attack boosts.
    • Yun has more offensive options than Xiao.
    Overall Verdict: Yun techinally is better cause of how he can be built. I won't discredit Xiao for her great boosts. But, Yun's 80% combined with his ATK base of 150 is actually higher than Xiao by a few points. Yun also has a unique way to be used. His normal attack boosts would outdamage her cause he can attack twice with them. Basically, his normal attack before buff is 80% as the standard. But, he has 400% boost with his buff. Which makes his normal attack a overall 480% modifier attack. He can even use it twice to make the basic attack 880% if he does his buff twice. Which well.. outbeats Xiao in physical DPS.

    Conclusion:
    Xiao is a amazing 6* attacker. And I fully recommend that you evolve her if you do get her. She has a explosive ATK stat, and some great moves to use under her belt. She is vastly better than her 5* max before. As she just gets gets basically more powerful haha. So, I fully recommend that you do 6* Xiao. As she is a good DPS attacker.

    Saw this during my break at work, was really considering leveling her at some point cause I wanna max every unit in the game atleast once but this guide inspired my thanks jet!

    There does seem to be a line of armors that work for her and supply +atk as well. The power/hyper wrists, the black belt gi, tiger mask etc. My 80th level Xiao has a 208 atk(unarmed) but does not yet have the gi keiser or hero ring. and this is only at the end of the second island. Shes definately my most damaging unit right now (I have maxed rain/laswell/Fina/ and I'm leveling Cerius but hoping to get a better dpser draw soon.

    Erm, just checking your math here. If her base attack is 101, and the Fight ability gives her a 50% increase, wouldn't that actually make her attack come out to 151.5?

    It would be 202 if it was a 100% increase.

    So I leveled my Xaio this week, unarmed, tiger mask, black belt gi, 2x hyper wrist. With a lvl 22 Ifrit 2* she is sitting at 269 atk. For not having to use a weapon her, that's pretty damned good for current content. Also 2700 + hp, 169 Def, an AOE, a single target Def ignoring attack, power/armor break, counter, and last Stand.

    For someone like me who's been lacking a full breaker for support and no strong tanks she's been a godsend

    Hey man, I have the exact same build and I totally agree. Xiao's Raging Fist with Kefka's Hyperdrive just wins boss fights alone. Her AoE is very strong too for clearing normal mobs and the mana cost is laughably low. I've also just got WoL's Full Break unlocked so the boss fights are even easier. I like her a lot and in my opinion, visually she has one of the best 5* auras hahaha

    I'm so happy I realized that my 3* Xiao has all the breaks I need. I'm lacking in both Vaan and WoL so she's mighty helpful. Pretty cool that she doesn't need a weapon, either.

    You can teach her Mental Break as well for added versatility. I haven't bothered to level up my Vaan since I got him 3 days ago and I beat Intangir just fine without Focus. Honestly, she's criminally underrated as a physical attacker. Her Chakra allows her to spam whatever she wants with reckless abandon in explorations.

    I painfully rerolled about 80 times (worth it!) to pull her since I love her character design and toolset.

    I was wondering... How does dual wield work on Xiao? I mean, since she doesn't use any weapon due her unarmed ATK bonus... Sorry if it is a fool question ::hiya::

    Dual wield just allows you to equip an extra weapon, since Xaio gets her atk from an ability (Fight) rather than a weapon, putting dual wield on her will do nothing for her. Unless you had 2 kaiser knuckles to give her in which case you'd benefit more than her passive atk boost.

    Yep! I have her with mental break. I didn't have issues with intangir, but I still can't beat the final coliseum frost dragon boss. RNG keeps screwing me.

    Really late to this thread, as I just stumbled across it, but wow there are a couple big mistakes in that opening post. First of all, Xiao would not be at 202 ATK with nothing equipped. She only get 50% ATK from Brawl plus an extra 20% ATK for a total of 70% ATK. This would bring her up to 171, not 202.
    Secondly, her Trust Mastery Award gives +101 ATK, so she would be at 202 ATK, not 151 ATK. Add in the 20% ATK bonus, and with the Kaiser Knuckles she's at 222 ATK. 222 ATK is much better than 171 ATK, so she's definitely more effective with the Kaiser Knuckles than unarmed.

    I've never taken into thought about Xiao, but I might just have to now. I'm going to have fun trying to get Barrage and farm rings just for a delicious unmitigated damaging monk girl.
    Although, I do have Lightning, Chizuru, Lenna, Kefka, and Agrias...But..One more attacker won't hurt.

    I've had Xiao for a while, and shes great up to 5* content, but she starts to flounder in current end area conditions. In my case i still use her cause I dont have a lightning or Chirzo yet, but unless she gets a 6* major upgrade, i think shes going to be left in the dust soon.

    I'm still not sure. the main problem is that her biggest ability is the bonus when attacking unarmed, and unless they allow claws/fist weapons to = unarmed, she would need an obscenely high base atk to compete with the better damage dealers just because they can duel wield weapons that can potentially have high numbers. Xaio's numbers are fixed without breaking her best skill.
