Hey guys it's my first time posting a video on a new thread.
So basically just watch the video for the guide.
2 things to note on this esper as per below
1 - Magic Tank with at least 150% fire resist
    2 - A physical cover tank with 100% dodge.

There's no need for a 100% dodge tank, just 100% provoke with decent stats will be plenty. Can be done with 130% fire resist if you bring along Marie/Minfilia/someone else who provides 70% resist buffs.

You probably meant a physical provoke tank. Cover would interfere with the magic tank, and probably wipe your team. The physical tank doesn’t even need to be very strong or have 100 dodge. His physical damage is mediocre, though his magic damage is very very high.

Ifrit hits like a truck on the ST tank... even with 10k Hp, 30% evade and almost 500 def + guard!! my fully enhanced WoL went down two times. So don't underestimate his raw physical power. Took me three tries to finish it. I will tackle Sirene in a couple of weeks

The first time I tried I got nuked in the first turn because I didn't put a lot of Fire resistance on Mystea. So I ended up using this team:

    Tilith
    eTidus

    ExAileen
    eNoctis (100% evade)
    Mystea with 170% Fire resistance
    Esper: Ifrit (+50% )
    ----
    Ulric's Kukri (+10%)
    Kingsglaive Hood (+5%)
    Thermal Suit (+50%)
    Gold Ring of Set (+10%)
    Blaze Ring (+10%)
    ----
    Mechanical Heart
    Fire Resistance +15%
    Hydaelyn Guard x2 (20%)

    The rotations were quite simple.
Mystea would use her cover ability then guard
Tilith would buff elemental resistances and team stats (and dispel when needed) or MP restore when doing Shiva mission because it took forever
ExAileen was my Shiva unit so she either did damage or break and summon when needed
eNoctis would use Fish+2 and then either break or buff or LB
    eTidus would just deal damage

I also used a friend Onion Knight who did the water attack (which also buffs team fire resistance) or regular damage.

I did the run twice, once with ExAileen for the esper mission and once without her (also friend OK) for the 5 units mission.

Basically with a strong or evade provoke tank and high fire res magic tank the rest can be adjusted to fill roles as needed (damage, break, res buff, etc.).

Siren is actually easier, I think. All you need is a solid-ish magic tank with some water resistance and she should go down easily. She has very little HP.

okay, this is kinda off topic, but does Siren also add an 100% water imperil like Ifrit? Don't know if i have all the gear to go for 200%

I don't think she does. I wasn't really paying attention, to be honest, but I think I went with Mystea of around 500 SPR and only Siren's 50% water resistance. She did die a few times (especially when I went for the esper mission), but that was manageable. I think you should be fine with even 'just' 100-ish. And if you have any buffs, all the better. But be careful, as Siren can do both Sleep and Silence. You should also bring Dispel (my Mystea had it from Siren esper).

Ifrit, Ifrit, Ifrit! (just mentioning Ifrit to keep things on-topic) :P

The most triky part is KNOWING to bring 2 different tanks.
Also, my Wilhelm with 10k hp managed all the hits easily gatting AT WORST 5k hp left after 6-8 hits...but he has natural damage mitigation with imperil, probably that is what saved him XD

Killed him with ease along Basch (120% fire) and 2 Onion Knights...if I haven't brought Rem I would have even did the 5 or less units mission. Maybe I'll do it another time just to get all missions and then take on Siren...to NOT use her since my Ifrit got to level 15 after more than 400 red megacites, 500 red magicites and like 600 between normal and mini magicite shards ._.

    Also...who uses Siren anymore? ::blind::

I only have a 70% evade Chizuru and managed just fine with my 200% Fire resistant Basch.
Also, 2 eTT's spark chaining took him down on turn 4 for me.

Magic tanks really? Dont we have enough gears now to at least 50 percent each characters fire resist instead?

Marie, ayaka, wilhelm. Then landu and dv for damage. Ayaka basically dispels tram after each hellfire, then marie puts up bar firaga and wilhelm provokes all hits.

Just remember to dispel team whenever he uses hellfire and ur gonna be fine. Barfiraga is 70 fire resist so you just need to put up 30 fire per character. Plenty of stuff an do that.

Had a little trouble, but I managed to do it with a 130% fire resist Mystea, because I let Onion Knights chain with Splendor of the Water. Got a little risky when he started with regular attacks and Firaga, but my Fina kept everyone alive (again). BS Sakura did the rest. I have to figure out a way for the 5 man mission though.

You can certainly do that, but generally speaking putting 200% onto Mystea/Basch/whoever is far more efficient. Don't need a unit who can dualcast Dispelga, don't need Barfiraga - though if you do have a 70% resist buff it makes gearing the magic tank that much easier. Ifrit, Flame Shield, Flame Armor, Ifrit's Claw, several raid/event items and 3/4* base TMs...fire's one of the easier elements to boost that high.

One 4* base potentially nullifies all of his AOE damage. No muss, no fuss.

You don't even need a provoke tank for the auto attacks if you can trigger his thresholds every turn, since the only move he'll use is Hellfire. Of course you'd need some good dmg to do it.

This is true hit a threshold and no need for a provoke tank bring extra dps instead to hit the mark magic tank covers and takes no damage with 200% fire resist
