    Hello guys.

I noticed the last few month something that steals the last fun part of the game for me.

I got so much 10+1 or 5+1 summons and I got so less rainbows. It has to be 3% right ? But it feels like 1% atm.
Can I see somewhere how much I got ? Or some statistics in my account ? Can I see somewhere ?

The most I think you can do (in game) is sort by obtained, but it will only show you the order, not the date, and it'll only be for whatever units you haven't enhanced/sold away.

Gumi is super sneaky... I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't raise the % rate for anything non-money related.

Except, just like a Casino, they have no reasons nor interest in lying or cheating you. They don't need to. Also, your brain isn't kind with you when you try to apprehend randomness or stats. So whatever happens, people will complain and think that they found patterns, that the game is rigged because your pulls show series when series actually are something you can expect from true randomness and actually are reassuring, and so on.

It doesn't even matter. 3%, 5%, 3.94%, it is still a reliance on luck. It's not as though someone will hit 8 rainbows out of 11.

@Ashlag Urgh.. you know that casino always win in the long run because they rigged all the games in their favor right? (Just having 0 in roulette gives them that edge traditionally.)

This is a common knowledge, but if any of you don't know this, you should read about it. ;)

As for Gumi and many mobile games, they have lots of interest in getting you addicted and paying them money. Some even used deep learning ai to learn about how to reach into your pocket. Gaming is serious gold digging business nowadays.. So you'd better watch out. They control the server, and as I told you, they could do many sneaky layers of codes behind your back and non of us will be the wiser.

It's free game, but the content doesn't come for free, they have operation cost. But compare to casino, their return of investment is thousand folds. That's why all the big game companies wanna do gasha game.

It's the online casino where all players loose their money. ::joy::

The games are not "rigged" just because they work in the casino's favour. It is an intentional and known design. It would be rigged if the casinos would guarantee the red/black on a Roulette to be 50/50, but it is common and open knowledge what the purpose of the green zero is.
The fact they always win in the long run is the reason they don't need to cheat. It's comparable with how the free resources in BE will never suffice to get every new unit, thus forcing players to buy lapis if they want to acquire every new unit. They don't need to cheat the rates to accomplish that.

So if the game is not fair, don't you think that's already cheating? They also don't tell you the winning rate of any slot machines, and we know those have high rigged rate. If that's not cheating, I don't know what is.

Anyway, this remind of my dad, who never loose at any casino. Whenever he goes to Vegas, he always come back with 2-3000 surplus dollars. He's just one smart egg who knows how to beat the odds. (His rule is to only play against human. Cuz then it's your luck against the dealer, not the rigged machine.)

Anyway, in ffbe. The lapis prize is already a ripped-off compared to other games. That's already big cheat in my book. We just got used to it and think it's normal.

Well gumi's model is to make you really-really want new units every week, and then not get them unless you spend cash. So you'll be disappointed in the rainbow rates just because you don't get what you wanted. Unless you spend cash. But then you'll be disappointed by how much you had to spend.

    Quite disappointing, actually... ;)

I keep a spreadsheet of all my summons (because as far as i can tell the game does not show statistics on that) and since the new 5% rate i counted 1070 pulls and got only 2 rainbows less than what the droprate "should" have given me. Before, during the 3% rate i counted 3987 pulls and came only 1 rainbow short of what that rate should have given me.

Your "good" luck and "bad" luck might last for weeks/months but after a large enough sample size (my 1k is not enough) the rates appear to be what they are. At least to my experience. (So far)

Where to start... No. The games are not rigged and all the stats are known and public for every single game. It's just that the average chance of winning (or money won, whatever you prefer) is slightly in favour of the casino. And no one is shady about it, everyone knows it, ask the casino they'll say it, and they don't have to cheat nor any reasons to cheat. So on average, the casino win money. This is very, very different.

Not cheating. You are cheating when you are not playing by the rules. In a casino you chose to play by rules everyone follows and that are not in your favour in the 1st place.
Also to note that more and more casino reveal the rates of their machines, and that the payout of the machine is legally fixed. So you know the worst case scenario because it is fixed by the law. Saying you can't know the rates is a lie.

Once again, I don't think you know what rigged means.
Also this is just statistical. Sometimes you will win. The games are designed to have a winrate not too low so that people see other people winning. The only thing that matters is not trying you luck for too long once you win (or if you don't) because on the long run you can't win. On short runs, you can. It's just like pulling a 5* units on banner from 5 3* tickets, if you want an example. It can happens. But the more you pull/play, the closer you get to the average and to a loss. It's precisely not beating the odds, cause this is taken into account in the 1st place. Some people will win. The only thing is leaving ahead, and this is based on how addicted you are, same with gacha.
You didn't look into a lot of gacha that went out at the same time as FFBE or into gacha in general, then. The price is always big. Precisely because the game is playing on the player gambling addiction and that when he can't gamble anymore, he'll want to do it some more. And statistically, some people will spend huge amounts, making the game viable economically. Gacha are always running on a small amount of whales.
Other F2P have other business models, like paying to go faster, or are based on other targets, like having a lot of people spending a small amount of money. This isn't cheating nor shady. It's generally amoral (with gacha being amongst the worst ones on a moral standpoint), but not hidden in the slightest nor illegal.

Except that there is a big difference between learning the players spending habits (which if they are not stupid is done legally, even if amoral) and breaking the law, cheating your players and not having uniform rates. Even more when the rates are low enough guarantee you don't need to do so to win enormous amounts of money. What it changes is how you communicate about let's say your units and your banners. You don't lie about the rates, you just make banners and units for which people will pull and will talk to... Your addicted whales.

I called 80% slot return rate as the pure definition of rigging, even if it's legal by law. But I guess that's your opinion if you think it's not. No slot machine have a rate shown in front of them, so it's a intended omission of information, which can also be seen as a form of lies.

Ffbe has no regulations (except banned in EU), and the game pays zero money so they can do whatever they want. Unless the players watch out for themselves, we really have way to fight with their greed. So I appreciate these kind of thread.

If you are asking how to determine what sample size you need to find a statistical significance result, here you go:

    Necessary Sample Size = (Z-score)2 * StdDev*(1-StdDev) / (margin of error)2

I mean, that's like pointing to a flower and saying "In my opinion, this is an animal."
Opinions don't matter when talking about the definition of things. Facts and opinions are different things, and the definition of a word at a certain point in time is a fact.
The definition of "rigged" is that mechanics are changed in secret for one side. No matter how unfair you perceive a game to be, if it is open about its mechanics, it is not rigged. You can call it unfair, amoral, questionable, all these words work because they display your personal opinion. "Rigged" doesn't do that.

It is not banned in whole EU, only in Belgium.

They cannot. They are subjected as much to regulations as any other money-making company. Why risking an investigation and a law suit when it's totally sufficient to be honest about your game mechanics and still generate a very high income?

What did I say wrong? I called rigged game a rigged game. :P

    So, back to the point.

What's the 7* drop rate for 10+1 tickets again?
