The Kingdom Hearts NV in JP

    This is info base on what is just released on the JP side. It can differ once it comes to the GL version.

    Break Gauge/ Break Mechanic: A new mechanic where players must first reduce the enemy's break barrier to 0 with guns or swords in order to inflict breaks. Units are able to do this and KH Riku is one of them, so whenever I bring up his break move, this is in relation to it.

    Pros:

    1. Powerful Vision Card with lots of ATK.
    2. AMoE chainer.
    3. Imperil and imbue light.
    4. T1 300% ATK.
    5. Easy own evade skill.
    6. Own guts passive.
    7. Can single and DW with a 6x cap.
    8. High mods on moves as well as LB.
    9. Brave Shift gives more LB damage.
    10. Can strengthen his own light attacks with a light buff.
    11. Fills LB gauge very fast.
    12. High Fairy killer in normal; High human killer in brave shift.
    13. High evasion passives in total 50%.

    Cons:
    1. Brave shift lasts only for 2 turns and goes into a 3 turn cooldown.
    2. Only stuck to light unless gets external imbue.
    3. Use up a lot of MP.
    4. TMR only for Sora.

    Pros:
    1. Powerful STMR and Vision Card.
    2. Easily destroy the enemy's break barrier 500%.
    3. High 80%-85% breaks.
    4. AMoE chainer.
    5. Imperil and imbue dark.
    6. A TDW unit with a 6x cap.
    7. High human killer passive.
    8. LB full on T1.
    9. Own guts passive.
    10. Absorbs dark attacks in Brave Shift.
    11. High LB damage in normal and brave shift.
    12. High mods on skills.
    13. Can give self 300% ATK on T1.

    Cons:
    1. Stuck to dark unless gets external imbue.
    2. Brave Shift only lasts for 2 turns.

    Pros:
    1. High ATK and SPR.
    2. AMoE chainer.
    3. TDH unit.
    4. Light imperil and imbue.
    5. Combo of attacker and healer.
    6. Immune to charm; gets stop immunity in brave shift.
    7. Human and fairy killer in normal form; higher heals in brave shift.
    8. Can AoE buff light attacks 25%.
    9. High LB damage.
    10. High damage mods.
    11. AoE resistance lasts for 5 turns.
    12. Strong HP + Regen skill.
    13. Own MP consumption decrease 15% and high MP-regen 15%.

    Cons:
    1. Heals not as strong in normal form...
    2. Only raise is in a 2 turn cd skill and reraise in a 6 turn cooldown skill.
    3. No reraise or any magic in reviving or healing.
    4. No other way of removing ailments or breaks except in her cooldown skills.
    5. Brave shift only lasts for 2 turns.
    6. Stuck to light unless external imbue.



    I'm honestly a bit confused with Kairi. I understand her being a DD healer and her most likely the one to start it off but even so, she honestly feel like a side healer than the actual healer. I mean, she still can be used as one as we may really don't need a pure healer especially with the power of supports that we have and a powerful debuffer in Lakshmi Lid. I do not want to be rash when she does have use regardless of how confused I can be. To be honest, this may be the only NV units I would actually pull for just because of Kingdom Hearts.

    that's meant for pogs farming...
    well, brave coins farming (pogs farming) and some trials tend to have break bar... basically you need to destroy the break bar so your damage can be relevant to the boss...
    Maybe it's kinda similar to DFFOO situation...
    the break bar can be damaged using certain types of weapon....

    Those units are the epitome of the boredom that units have become on JP.

    Sora is a Light AMoE with high numbers, his normal form has SEVEN AMoE moves, each one with small perk (one with imbue, one with imperil, one with higher mod, one with CD, one is a Magnus), and his Brave Shift is the same thing, but with NINE AMoE moves, with additional effects (one has a LB damage buff, other with light damage up)

    Riku is sora, but dark and with less redundant abilities and breaks.

    Kairi is sora, but with less redundant abilities and some utility. (and a random useless fire SPR scaling ability)

    Ah, so limited units will be getting NV!

    Even further reason to horde Omniprisms and STMR tickets, especially for my f2p butt.

    Omniprisms won't do you any good. The 3 KH NV units are NV base. The old KH 5* got enhancements, but I do not believe they got NV forms. So the Sora and Riku being talked about are new NV base units. And Sora's max dmg in the sheet is just stupid high.

    No bro. These are not the 5* units who will receive NV. They are completely characters who will start off as NV. Like the CG Rain and Akstar NV.

    They will be dissappointed then. The NV's are new units. Not upgrades for the old units.

    Ah, that's why I was confused. So NV operates both as a level above 7*, and also as a new base level for future units. That allows Gumi to promote units they want into the NV category, while also creating new units which inherently have two different styles to them.

    Seems legit. I'm guessing that means you won't need a mountain of Soras to use him as an NV unit - if you pull him outright, then you get him outright.

    I think pulling the NV base unit has 1% rate though, so good luck on that.

    Weren't the rates 1% when NV first came on JP? Wouldn't surprise me if Gumi didn't start with 1% as well.
