Agrias was a knight serving the Lionsguard, the personal bodyguards of the Atkascha royal family, and was entrusted with protecting Princess Ovelia. Her loyalty to the crown was unquestionable, yet she abhorred the corruption in the powers-that-be of Ivalice; those who would exploit Ovelia for their own schemes. Agrias sought to shelter the princess from the perils of the upcoming war by relocating her to Gallione. There, they would meet the mercenary Ramza.

    Pre-Enhancements:
    I've already made an Agrias review and looking back to it it doesn't seem that outdated. The pros and cons still apply and the only thing that really changed in the 4* DPS meta is that Wind Veritas took over #1.

    While also considering that Orlandeau dropped quite a bit in the meta as well, but I will talk about that later on.

    Post-Enhancements:
    Now, we basically have a second Orlandeau once you fully enhance Knighthood and Divine Ruination.

    Something Agrias lacked before she got enhanced was attack passives. She only had mere 30% attack passive with 170 max base attack, which really isn't powerful at all.
    But once you fully enhance Knighthood to Knighthood +2 you gain another 50% attack, which pushes her quite a bit and makes her definitely way more appealing regarding her stats.

    Though the problem remains that she has rather weak base attack stats.
    But the main deal is Divine Ruination +2. This ability literally becomes the unenhanced version of Orlandeau's Divine Ruination. Which is a 45 MP move, 7 hits and a 4x modifier with 50% light imperil.
    That's not all, this ability is basically the easiest chain ever. It's a standing chain as well, so if you cant chain two enhanced Agrias, you should really work on your chain skills, mate. Git Gud ::ink::

    Something that is super important for this:
    Agrias has the ability to either perfectly chain with
    A) Another enhanced Agrias
    B) Orlandeau (even post enhancements)
    C) Dark Veritas

    This is amazing for any beginner, anyone who doesn't have dupe Landu or so or anyone who has Agrias but no Orlandeau / Dark Veritas to chain with their friends.
    You really should realize how important that is, it's not meta changing but this makes basically any player have an easy access to a quite strong chainer who can chain with even more powerful chainers!

    Something on the side-notes rather is that her fullbreak now lasts 5 turns instead of 3 turns and she has an allround 30% imperil on top of it, but it's rather meh than actually useful seeing how much of strong breaks we already have.
    So all in one, she's a super solid unit now.


    Enhanced Agrias [​IMG] VS [​IMG] Orlandeau

    - Orlandeau has way higher base ATK stats (19 higher)
    - Both have the same Divine Ruination
    - Orlandeau has better breaks with Crush Weapon (40% ATK/MAG)
    - Orlandeau has status ailment protection
    - Orlandeau has innate MP Refresh
    - Agrias has a 30% chance to put her life to the risk with her Female Sentinel
    - Agrias has a useful emergency Curaja
    - Both have similar defensive stats

    I'd still give it Orlandeau. The base attack difference might seem like it's not a big deal but it is. Both can reach the 300% ATK passive cap with a BiS and just to show you the difference, Orlandeau will have 19*4 higher attack than Agrias (76), which is quite a lot. With DW he'd use that 76 ATK twice so that means Agrias has effectively 152 ATK less than Orlandeau, which is a huge deal.
    Besides that, Orlandeau has the innate MP Refresh and the option to drain MP as well, which Agrias does not have. So Orlandeau will cause far less trouble in terms of managing MP. While he also has status ailment protection.
    The only real niche over Orlandeau is that Agrias has a Curaja, that can come in handy sometimes.
    But overall Orlandeau wins.



    Enhanced Agrias [​IMG] VS [​IMG] Dark Veritas

    - Dark Veritas has way higher base ATK (10 higher)
    - Dark Veritas has far better allround base stats and 20% passives to all stats besides ATK
    - Dark Veritas has a 45% AoE Break
    - Dark Veritas has Divine Ruination with a Dark Imperil
    - Dark Veritas has status ailment protection
    - Dark Veritas has a niche dark resistance buff with AoE status ailment protection
    - Dark Veritas absorbs dark damage
    - Dark Veritas has a 20% physical counter chance to imperil the enemy's dark resistance for 100%
    - Agrias has a 30% chance to protect a female unit
    - Dark Veritas has 5% innate MP refresh
    - Agrias has Curaja
    - Dark Veritas has an AoE 20% Damage mitigation buff

    You can clearly see that Dark Veritas in general wins. He basically does everything better than Agrias.
    He supports your team a lot better.
    He deals a lot more damage because of having a higher ATK stats with the same passives.
    He has higher survivability.
    He has the chance to proc a 100% dark imperil, which is huge.
    His AoE 45% Fullbreak is massive.
    His Sprite is also 10x cooler than Agrias'.
    So there is not much of a selling point from Agrias > Dark Veritas besides having Curaja, which honestly doesn't make up for all the things Dark Veritas has.
    But they chain perfectly together, so there's that.
    Dark Veritas wins.



    Enhanced Agrias [​IMG] VS [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] 4* bases

    - Agrias has either (/and) higher base ATK and higher ATK passives
    - Agrias has higher base modifier
    - Agrias has higher overall stats
    - Agrias has Curaja
    - Agrias has a 50% light imperil
    - Agrias has a good hit-count and is easy to chain
    - Agrias has a 30% chance to jump in front of a female unit

    A fully enhanced Agrias will currently outdamage every 4* base chainer in the game. And not only by a small amount, she will outdamage them for quite a large amount actually once you start to have at least Dual Wield and Excalibur.
    Get these two TMR's and watch Agrias being a massive 4* chainer compared to the already existing ones.


    Recommendation:
    Her enhancements are really worth it if you feel like lacking some power.

    Full break: This ability though is not worth enhancing at all. It uses up basically nothing but a T4 power material, but the value you gain out of it is basically zero. The imperil is absolutely worthless because if you don't utilize her light imperil, you will use an external imperil. And a 30% fullbreak really isn't all that good. I don't recommend enhancing it at all.

    Knighthood: This one is fairly cheap actually. 500,000 total Gil and 2 T4 mats for maximizing it. You'll gain 50% ATK for not a lot amount of material, this is a must enhance from my perspective if you use Agrias. Really easy to get enhancement and has quite strong impact on her damage.

    Divine Ruination: The highest enhancement cost there can be. 12 Power T4, 4 T5, 2 million Gil. This really eats up a lot of mats, especially for beginners or players that aren't in the game for too long. But it makes Agrias a beautiful unit that will be relevant for quite a long time in a weird way.
    She will be able to perfectly chain with Orlandeau and Dark Veritas. And also with Sephiroth, but he's FAR from being in GL.
    So yes, I do recommend enhancing it. But it's really expensive.


    Conclusion:
    So how good is Agrias?

    She's actually quite decent post enhancements and definitely one of the best 4* DPS units you will ever get in the near future and maybe even longer than that. She definitely has a place in a lot of people's teams because of her chaining partners, which will become even more important once we get 10 man trials.
    So yes, Agrias is quite good and amazing for a 4* base unit. Expensive, but good.
    Go for her if you lack top tier chainers!

    One thing I like about Agrias is Spear usage. Dark Veritas has it too. All it really does is offer Earth element chaining (Artisan), allows use of Elza's Demon Scythe if as a Dark option instead of/in addition to Deathbringer, and use of Crimson Blood + Sworn Six's Pride - Wind, both of which are her BiS secondary weapon if you didn't get 2B's Virtuous Contract.

    Do I enhance Refia/Agrias/Firion?

    Totally agree. As I said on her review, she is the best option among 4*-chainers for elemental chain options and I feel like this is really the best aspect of her for F2P players.

    Next SE... maybe (i'm doing with hight priority all expedition with Cryst )

    I think it will depend on your need. What do you have, what do you need.
    - If you don't have any chainer, Agrias will be welcome. (but i see K.Delita & Fry) You should need more than 1 or 2 Chainer with the new R10 trial in coming. No dupe. that is why i'm thinking about Queen or Agrias to compl├Ęte my ToolToon :p
    - If you don't have Tilith or Aria, Enhanced Luka or Refia could help a lot (depend on your TM too and the reste of your unit. One can be better than the other for you)

    (I hope K.delita will get Sum[GE]love *.* i like him but his actual JP Enhancement is kind of meh)

    I didn't get DV or a dupe Orly, so my fair Agrias is a blessing to me. My current dilemma is that I also have DKC waiting for those high tier crysts for his full enhancements. Regardless, already boosted her Knighthood, passives are nice to enhance (plus they're relatively less expensive).
