    The vision of an otherworldly singer and dancer manifested from someone's emotions. Myra was part of an idol group composed of seven members that was hugely successful. Unfortunately, however, one day she suddenly lost her voice. No one knows why or how it happened, but some speculate that she was the victim of a curse.
    The last fan festa unit is here and she's pretty interesting! Let's take a look at her kit.
    I'm happy that I finally moved and slowly getting back on my FFBE schedule.

    Due to the exams and moving out I currently feel slightly burned out on writing reviews. Hopefully with the upcoming march and april where I have a lot more time I will feel refreshed. It's not a big deal but I wanted to address it anyhow.
    Perhaps I need to go on vacation and just time out for a week. I'd love to visit Prague soon again!

    Pros:
    Will the designer of Myra read this? Spread the message!

    Myra's base stats are what you expect: decent HP with high MP/SPR. Through passives she gets another 40% HP, 30% MP, 80% SPR and 20% DEF! As usual: her Trust Ability adds some on top of it.
    She's resistant against charm, silence, confusion and petrification, which are all annoying to deal with. If you don't have a proper provoke tank yet having a 60% decrease of being targeted might come in handy, you never know!

    Her TMR is a 20 MAG, 55 SPR Hat with 40% Light / Fire resistance, which are high ele resistances for a TMR hat. If you plan on using Myra under no circumstances should you skip it. Not only does it add 50% SPR, 20% DEF/MP and even higher fire / light resistances, it grants her W-Ability for all of her abilities except for her cooldowns. As you will see later on her kit can utilise her own LB gauge in various ways and thus adding another 100% LB Fillrate will support her a lot.
    Due to her good survivability she can make use of her counters that can recover 30 MP or 5000 HP.

    To get it out of the way: her spells are fine! Curaja and Reraise cover the nowadays expected healer kit, though in addition to that they also gave her the De-naga spells that cure a single break off of your party.

    What I do have to mention is that her abilities do remind me a lot of the Ariana Grande units. Or even Katy Perry. Soon this will be Final Fantasy Song Contest. #badjokes

    Keep in mind that she can W-Cast all of her abilities except for her cooldown abilities.

    Myra has a series of combo abilities, which are... somewhat obvious I'd say. Intro, Interlude and Outro. Each step gets better and better.
    Intro buffs your party's ATK/MAG by 70% as well as the break immunity for them for 5 turns.
    Interlude buffs all stats by 100% for 4 turns as well as having a weaker Curaja heal attached to it and cures all status ailments.
    Outro buffs all stats by 140% for 2 turns, 1500 HP barrier and recovers 100 MP.
    Due to the W-Cast you have an easier time actually getting to the Outro ability. Sadly the way up to it isn't exactly exciting.

    Despite having Curaja and Reraise in her kit, she still has access to some healing abilities for her W-Cast, which is a nice addition. Hit Single is almost half of Curaja but has a built in HP regen on top of it. She even has a ST or AoE 100% HP Revive and if needed even a ST Reflect, though the latter is more than niche.

    Rena was able to chain holy with the DR family, while Myra doesn't have an element on her DR frames she can still pull it off. If you are spark chaining that shouldn't be a big deal, if not this isn't a great ability. Also adds a 500 HP barrier.

    Inspired by the praise that Folka got, Myra decided to take one of her abilities but only one of them. She can buff sleep, silence, confusion and petrification resistance as well as charm and DEF/SPR break immunity for 5 turns. It's not a full ribbon but covers the most important status ailments (except for paralyze) whereas DEF/SPR immunity is also more important than ATK/MAG. It's great to have despite not having the other part of it.

    So, how would you use her LB gauge other than her Limit Burst?
    I mean at max it cures all negative effects off of your team, applies massive HP/MP regens, break immunity and charm resistance. Even for 36 crysts, this is still an amazing LB to have!
    Well.. Myra has an Entrust that also buffs her own LB fillrate by 200% for 5 turns. You can W-Cast this. This means that you can give your LB gauge every turn to another unit.
    Damage dealers with high LB damage such as NG Jake, Ang, Hyoh or even 2B can utilise this added utility A LOT. Even for supportive units like MS Nichol, Sieghard or perhaps even Wilhelm this can be a great deal. Thus focusing on LB gear with Myra is actually good. It allows her to make other units spam their LBs while still being able to heal. This is a great niche in her kit.

    Lastly we are looking at her 3 CD abilities.

    Live Concert is available at turn 1 with a 6 turn cooldown, applies decent HP regens with good MP regens and an AoE 80% HP Reraise! I can't emphasize how strong an AoE Reraise can be in sticky situations. Having decent regens on top of it isn't too bad either, most regens mostly come a few turns later on.

    Roaring Crowd is available at turn 5 and is huge for threshholds that contain a lot of fire / light damage. It buffs fire + light resistance by 100% for 2 turns, 20% generic mitigation and even an AoE 3 turn Ribbon + Charm resistance, which sadly can't be maintained or in her regular kit, thus not too important.

    Piercing Voice on the other hand is a more offensively focused CD ability. Available at Turn 1 with a 5 turn cooldown she has an AoE 1 turn 65% DEF/SPR break with a 100% fire / light imperil. Due to debuff mechanics you can utilise both of them for 2 turns. On top of it you'll be granted a strong AoE HP regen! For any team composition that has imperils below 100% this will be utilised for burst turns.


    Cons:
    Myra
    doesn't have many cons.

    The only "cons" she has occur during comparisons as most healers have a distinctive niche. Her own kit doesn't have many flaws per se except for some nitpicks.

    While Myra can't provide a maintainable AoE Ribbon, this is more of a problem when being compared to Folka. What does prove to be an issue is the lack of AoE stop buffs. Sure you can use Lakshmi for that, but it'd hurt her due to not being able to W-Cast it. Myra is a unit that can and most likely will be used to prevent certain status ailments, not having stop resistance in her kit feels a bit wrong.

    The Intro skill tree is slow and not too redeeming. The last step with Outro generally is a strong 140% buff, though it only lasts 2 turns and can't be re-casted unless you go through the entire rotation again. At the same time 140% buffs aren't worth it for that amount of effort when many buffers provide partially even higher buffs and non-buffers 110%~130% buffs more easily (e.g. Mediena, Yuna, Ignacio, ...)


    Side-Notes:
    Myra
    doesn't exist in JP.
    Due to focusing a lot on her Entrust she will always have a niche that you can utilise as no other healer except for Lenna has a similar trait whereas Lenna is still far far away in the future.
    She might not make the cut in boss fights where you'd bring Folka for her AoE resistances nor in fights where you'd rely on AoE Reraise a lot. In these teams LM Fina and later on Aerith will shine.
    But what makes Myra so interesting is that she can pump up your team's utility a lot if you happen to have LBs that you want to spam over and over. Especially damage dealers love it. I've already listed a few earlier on. The current unit that works best with this combination in my opinion would be 2B. Her damage output with a 2h weapon and her LB is uncomparable to any other chainer for now and being able to spam it each (/other) turn trivialises many fights in terms of raw power.
    Other than that it's hard to tell how useful her niche will look like in the future. A unit like Regina under the right circumstances could be huge with Myra due to the constant LB spam. Akstar would also love to have his 500% damage modifier boost every other turn and would be pretty beastly.
    Other supports do benefit from it, though generally are often geared to the point where you can spam their LBs even without Myra. Though an honorable mention would go to Zargabaath with his 150% buff + 50% mitigation that takes up a ton of LB crysts. If Myra has 9 Auto LB and Zargabaath 10 you can reliably spam it every second turn. For breakers Elephim would also be a strong option due to the high 45 LB cryst cost that can now be trivialised.


    Best In Slot:
    Since we want to use her Entrust frequently as well as her LB occasionally we want a ton of LB supportive gear on Myra. Even with that kind of build she still has 10k HP and 1300 SPR, which is high considering how much LB focused gear I gave her.

    Hero's Vow - Earth (30% HP, 20% DEF/SPR, 50% LB Fillrate)

    How good is Myra at 6*?
    She lacks a lot of qualities that her 7* has, mainly her CD abilites which contain AoE Reraise, 100% fire / light imperil or resistance buffs as well as her W-Ability, which makes her a lot stronger.
    At 6 star she is a fine healer that is serviceable without any doubts due to her Reraise and Curaja spell, but lacks a lot of her unique utilities that you'd otherwise have.



    Arena:
    Many healers aren't exactly amazing in the arena and Myra falls under the same category as she has no innate stop resistance and not a lot in her kit to become a redeeming unit to slot into your arena kit.

    • Myra has a multicastable Entrust
    • Myra has a multicastable AoE Revive
    • Myra has an AoE Reraise (CD)
    • Myra has an AoE 100% fire/light resistance buff (CD)
    • Myra has an AoE 100% fire/light imperil (CD)
    • Myra's LB cures all debuffs, applies huge regens and buff resistance
    • Myra has strong AoE Regens
    • Folka has innate ribbon
    • Folka has an AoE Ribbon + Stop/Charm resistance + break resistance
    • Folka has an AoE 100% water resistance buff
    • Folka can heal + apply generic / magic / phys mitigation (CD)
    • Folka can recover your party's MP by 180 for 10 LB crysts
    • Folka has a 75% water imperil
    Despite that Myra and Folka could work really well in a double healer composition, this is about the comparison.
    Myra in fights where you have absolutely no use for the AoE resistance buffs that Folka provides is certainly the better option since that's what Folka is mainly focusing on. In defence for Folka, her mitigations she brings alongside healing can be crucial for crossing threshholds or facing turn based attacks. Since Magic and Phys mitigations aren't too easy to come by naturally often enough they will stack with your currently applied buffs.
    In fights where you do utilise Folka's resistance buffs, which are nowadays common and in the future even more needed due to status ailment debuffs, Folka does better due to Myra only having bits of her qualities. Her on demand ability is only half of what Folka provides, her LB only covers break resistance and her CD ability ribbon can't be maintained. Though if you like to prepare it is worth checking out which debuffs the bosses apply.
    Since both have their respective niche it's not easy to say who's better nor worse since it also depends on your team composition, though for most coming trials Folka will be the better choice.




    Myra [​IMG]VS [​IMG] Lotus Mage Fina
    • Myra has a multicastable Entrust
    • Myra has a multicastable AoE Revive
    • Myra has an AoE 100% fire/light resistance buff (CD)
    • Myra has an AoE 100% fire/light imperil (CD)
    • Myra's LB cures all debuffs, applies huge regens and buff resistance
    • Myra has strong AoE regens
    • LM Fina has an AoE 45% all ele resistance buff
    • LM Fina has a low-ish LB cost for an AoE Reraise
    • LM Fina has an AoE Reraise (CD)
    • LM Fina has a 65% light / dark imperil
    For strict healer aspects LM Fina wins due to the sheer amount of AoE Reraises you have access to. Her LB can be spammed easily while having the occasional CD backup on it. On the other hand Myra only can cast her AoE Reraise every 6 turns.
    However in any fight where you do not need the AoE Reraise spam I'd mostly prefer Myra. It should be clear at this point what Myra excels in and I do value her entrust highly seeing how many meta units have a strong Limit Burst to use.
    Comparing healers nowadays gets harder and harder because they are all just so unique and heavily depend on which team you are running against which boss.


    Trust Master Reward:
    Myra's
    TMR is pretty nice for the upcoming Elemental Tetris trials. With 55 SPR and 40% Fire / light resistance it will come in handy in many upcoming fights and even currently existing ones. It has a high SPR stat on top of it and if you don't like hurting your e.peen on your mages too much the added 20 MAG isn't too bad either.


    Super Trust Master Reward:
    Compared to other STMR options hers seems just like a worse staff. It has 10 ATK and 150 SPR, which is obviously better than TMR staves, however that's about it. Other STMR staves have different additions such as MP + MP regen or summon damage. Her STMR though grants you a 100% SPR buff below 80% HP. Though it seems like being a permanent buff, so perhaps after a dispel it isn't too bad, but as I said not too exciting.


    Conclusion:
    Myra
    is a strong healer with a niche that many teams can utilise.
    So far she's the fan festa unit that impressed me the most, though that might be due to the role she has. I'd also say that she's the best investment out of them all, though everybody has a different opinion on this.
    Being able to fill up other unit's LB gauges while providing heals (even if not too amazing) can change the flow of the fight dramatically depending on what you use. If you only need break resistance and no status ailment protection I dare to say that she makes for an excellent healer as she has access to that quite easily through abilities as well as her LB.
    Myra is definitely a fun and effective healer to use alongside various of damage dealers and different supports. If you know how to utilise her Entrust efficiently she can be a powerhouse, though often enough the added Entrust is not needed due to already provided 200% LB fillrate buffs that usually take care of everything.
    If you want to pull on her banner keep in mind that Aurora Fryevia is also on the same banner. Recently we got a lot of damage dealers and you're likely covered, making it a bit risky to go for her.

    Finally wrapped this badboy up! Hope you enjoyed it, I actually had a hard time to evaluate Myra. We will see as time goes on if my evaluation was correct as Myra is a very interesting healer in my opinion with a lot of potential.

    Yes, though Folka can do full break resistance, AoE ribbon and AoE Stop / charm resistance.

    In the future bosses will "imperil" your status ailment resistance, too.

    AoE charm resist and
    AoE sleep silence confuse petrify resist

    All turn 1
    And it still unlocks her stronger song

    THANK YOU MEME! I mean THANK YOU! You actually see the use for her and consider her a powerful healer. What bothers me the most is that Gumi lowers her song turn rate from 3 to 2 when the designer wanted Myra's songs to last for 3 turns... so this is straight up disrespectful.

    True. Myra would seem to work really well with 7* Zargabaath. Myra provides break-, charm- and status-resistance, great lb-support, buffs, healing, mp-recovery, etc. Zargabaath on the other hand can provide resistance to stop and the remaining status ailments, provide mitigation (especially with his lb) and elemental resistance, and if you equip him with bushido-freedom, can also dispel enemies. Another good pair-up might be Myra and Seaside Nichol, as Myra can provide offensive buffs that Nichol can't.

    Thanks for the review. I like her LB and her entrust a lot. Although, I don't think I like the rest of her skill set and rotation that much though.

    Good review. But I can't help but feel like everything Mrya does...Rena does better only less restricted. If I didn't already have a Rena I'd definitely be interested in Myra since she isn't time limited.

    Found one in my free 10+1, but I'm kinda broke. No tickets, 7k lapis, already 2 7* healers, even if it's "just" Rem and Yuna, well. I'm not sure getting another will be possible/reasonable. BUT she's quite crazy used in combination with Zargabaath, that as mentioned earlier complete her perfectly and benefits a lot from her entrust. So... Let's see how this will go.

    I’ve seen evil laughter paired her with Auron but I was also wondering about her pairing with MsNichol or Cg Fina. I tried for folka but burnt 16k lapis and got nothing.

    • Can't raise and curaja heal
    • no dispel
    • Same flaw as Qin (Building buffs)
    • etc

    In return for what a 4* bartz could do better - entrust battery.

    Well to be fair, how often is AoE dispel mandatory? Usually a single target Dispel is enough, and you can get that from Carbuncle.

    Do you know if they imperil status 100% or just 50%? You can make everyone overly immune to just paralyze and she'll act like a folka. Extra machine power on dd, domino boots on supports, Shiva, Odin, etc. If it's 50% king's armor and such would help.
